What currency will I be charged in?

We will charge your Payment Method in the currency you tell us to when you add the Payment Method. You can change this at any time.

When you add a Payment Method to Sling Money you will be asked what currency your underlying account is in. Sling Money will always charge your Payment Method in this currency, regardless of the Display Currency used to denominate a transaction.

Sling Money will always show you the amount you will be charged, in the Payment Method currency, on the transaction confirmation screen before you are charged. You can tap on this amount to see the exchange rate we used to calculate it from the Display Currency.

If your Payment Method is in a different currency than what you told us your bank or account provider may use their own exchange rate to convert the amount we charge you to your account currency. They may also charge you fees for this. We cannot control how much your bank or account provider charge you if you tell us the wrong Payment Method currency.

You can change your Payment Method currency at any time by visiting Settings and then Payment Methods and tapping on the Payment Method to edit it.
