What is an Original Credit Transaction (OCT)?
An OCT is a transaction where funds are sent directly to your debit card. Most debit cards can typically receive OCT payments on the Visa and Mastercard networks. They are processed through the Visa and Mastercard networks in essentially the same way as debit card purchases, with the same protections. Some issuers do not support OCT. Please check with your card provider to ensure your card is eligible.
How quickly will I receive funds through an OCT?
Funds sent via OCT are usually available almost instantly, but they can take up to three days. Slower transfers are due to the card network or card issuer and are outside Sling Money's control.
