Verifying your identity

Sling Money verifies your identity through a simple live process.
At your convenience, either during account creation or later, you’ll be asked to:

  1. Take a selfie, and

  2. Upload a picture of your identification document.

This helps confirm that you are the rightful owner of your account and keeps your operations safe. Once your identity has been successfully verified, you’ll be able to start making transactions and fully enjoy Sling Money.

How we verify

Sling Money uses a combination of online databases and ID verification services to confirm your identity. All data is encrypted while in transit and at rest. Our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and processes are ISO 27001 certified, ensuring that your personal data is handled with the highest security standards.
