Such content is not permitted on Sling Money, in any form. If you receive or come across content violating our Anti-Abuse & Harassment Policy, please report it to us. You can block other users in the app by clicking on their profile picture and selecting Block. This action will remove the ability for that individual to find you on Sling Directory or to send you money on Sling Money. Just so you know – the individual is not notified of your action, and you can only unblock them anytime.

Sling Money is committed to creating and maintaining a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for our community. We do not tolerate any form of abuse, harassment or any harmful behavior on our platform.

Sling Money allows you to send a message and photo along with your transfer. Our Anti-Abuse & Harassment policy applies to the content of messages and photos sent on the platform.

Below outlines the behavior and activities that are not permitted on the platform, in any form; text, message, photo, image, or emoji;

  • Hate Speech: that promotes violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender or other protected characteristics.

  • Cyberbullying: that involves threats, harassment, or abusive behavior directed at individuals, whether known or unknown to you. Often, they persist over time and involve an imbalance of power

  • Spamming: repeatedly sending the same or irrelevant messages to an individual or group.

  • Doxxing: revealing personal, sensitive information such as addresses, social security numbers, phone numbers, email accounts, etc., with or without intention to intimidate or harm that individual.

  • Promotion of Illegal Activities: encouraging or endorsing unlawful behavior, like substance misuse, theft, or hacking.

  • Sharing of Intimate Images: sharing explicit photos or images, with or without the consent of the people involved.

  • Encouragement of Self-Harm or Suicide: promoting harmful behaviors towards oneself or others.

  • Predatory Behavior: images or messages aiming to belittle, intimidate an individual or a group, intended to exploit or take advantage of others, particularly minors or vulnerable individuals, i.e, grooming behavior.

If you receive or come across content that violates the information shared here, please report it to us.

You can do this using our in-app chat function in the Help section. Alternatively, you can block other users in the app by clicking on their profile picture and selecting Block. This action will disable that individual's ability to find you on the Sling Directory or to send you money via Sling Money.
