Why was my payment declined?

Learn why payments fail and how to fix them.

Payments can be declined for several reasons, such as:

  • Not enough money in your Sling Balance.

  • You’ve reached your daily spending limit.

  • The merchant doesn’t support virtual cards.

  • A quick security review is in progress.

What to do:

  1. Check your Sling Balance, and add money if needed.

  2. Try again tomorrow, once your limit resets.

  3. If your payments continue to be declined, lock your card and message support so we can assist you.
