On Sling Money, you always get the real exchange rate. We do not mark up exchange rates or add hidden fees, and we encourage you to compare our rate to the Google rate to see for yourself.
To view our exchange rates:
Tap your profile picture at the top left of your screen
Tap 'Exchange rates'.
You will see the list of the current exchange rates Sling uses, compared to your display currency. You can tap the currency at the top to change the base currency.
Before completing a transaction, you'll be shown the exchange rate. The rate is valid for a limited time, so if it expires before you complete the transaction, a new rate will be applied.
Exchange rates for Sling Links
When you send money using a Sling Link in digital dollars or digital euros, the recipient receives the face value of the Sling Link if they claim it in the same currency.
If the recipient claims the Sling Link in a different currency, the exchange rate at the time of claiming will be applied.
