Setting up your profile picture
Your profile picture is how you show yourself to other Sling Money users. To add or update your profile picture:
Tap your profile picture at the top left of your screen (If you haven't set an image yet, the icon will display the initials of your first and last name)
Tap your profile picture again
Choose whether to upload a file from your photo library or take a live selfie
Your new profile photo will help your friends and contacts easily recognize you and confirm they're sending money to the right person.
Checking your personal details
To view your username, phone number, email address, etc.:
Tap your profile picture in the top left of your home screen
Tap 'Your profile'
Here you can change your username or phone number. If you need to update other details, please contact our support team.
Changing your display currency
Depending on where you live, your Sling Balance may be stored in digital dollars or digital euros. However, for ease of use, you can view your balance in whatever currency you think in.
To change your display currency:
Tap your profile picture at the top left of your home screen
Tap 'Display currency'.
Browse the list or type the name of a currency in the search bar.
When you return to your transaction screen, your new display currency will appear. This will also be the default currency when you pay someone via Sling.
