Sling Money is environmentally efficient. We use the Solana distributed ledger to power transfers, which is designed to be fast and energy-efficient.

Each transfer on Solana uses approximately 0.878 kilojoules of energy, which is less than a single Google search and just 0.000024% of the energy used by an LED light bulb in one hour.

Solana also publishes its real-time carbon footprint and actively offsets its emissions, ensuring that the network remains carbon neutral.
